DECEMBER 17

Grace, The Great Teacher

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14

Every Believer needs to recognize the fact that grace, the favor of God, gives us instruction on the kind of living that we are to do in this present evil world. This Scripture lays it out plain and clear without need of any detailed explanation. Grace teaches us what to deny, how to live and what to look for. If you will listen, grace will teach you from the inside out.

Scripture reading: 1 Peter 2:9-11
